Yavor Gonev

 

 

Born: 1957 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Free-lance multi-media artist. Works in the fields of ceramics, graphics, paintings, applied arts, posters and others.

Artist, remarkable by his own unique and original style, well known in his country Bulgaria and Europe for his wide range and constant experimentation, Yavor is not limited in the use of different materials in his art. He makes ceramic, but also paint with clay on canvas, using colored cement or stucco to make grand murals or functional sculptures.

2008 - 1-st Place in Art Festival at Home Center, Viera, Florida

1995 - Award for entire presentation in the regional exhibition “Struma” and many others

1993 - National award for ceramic from the “Spring salon of decorative arts”, Sofia.
